Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using orange-flame.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Site. These terms apply to the Site itself; if and when FieldGoal ships with its own account system or online features, it will carry its own, separate terms.

Orange Flame is currently operated by Jordan J. Mugenyi. We intend to reorganise the studio through a Delaware limited liability company in the future. Until that change takes effect, references to "Orange Flame", "we", "us" or "the studio" refer to the current operator. Once the new entity is formed, these Terms may be updated to identify that entity as the contracting party.

Use of the Site

The Site is provided so you can learn about Orange Flame, follow development of FieldGoal, and read the studio's journal. You're welcome to browse, link to and share pages from the Site. You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Site — including text, artwork, logos, the FieldGoal name and branding, UBU/UBA/UBC/ABL branding, screenshots and journal writing — is the property of Orange Flame or its founder, Jordan J. Mugenyi, and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may quote or share brief excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source page; you may not reproduce substantial portions, redistribute assets, or use Orange Flame or FieldGoal branding to imply endorsement, without our prior written permission.

FieldGoal & other projects

FieldGoal, and anything else described on this Site as in development, is a work in progress. Features, systems, release dates, franchise names and anything else discussed in the journal or on the FieldGoal page may change, be delayed, or be removed entirely before release. Nothing on this Site is a promise of a specific feature, timeline or outcome.

Acceptable use

When contacting us through the Site, please don't send anything unlawful, abusive, or intended to mislead or harm the studio or other people. We reserve the right to ignore or block correspondence that falls into that category.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party destinations, including social platforms such as Instagram. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices — you use them at your own discretion.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, and we make no promises about the accuracy or completeness of journal entries, development notes, or other content, which reflect a point in time and an individual's perspective.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orange Flame and Jordan J. Mugenyi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the Site or the studio evolves. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, together with applicable federal laws of the United States. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to you.
