Overview

Orange Flame ("we", "us", "the studio") is currently operated by Jordan J. Mugenyi and operates orange-flame.com. We intend to reorganise the studio through a Delaware limited liability company in the future; this policy will be updated when that change takes effect. This policy covers the marketing and journal site you're reading now — it explains what we collect, why, and how you can ask us about it. It doesn't cover FieldGoal itself: once the game has accounts, saves or online features, it will have its own privacy notice, linked from inside the game.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. In practice, that means:

• Contact details you give us. If you email us or fill in a contact form, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Basic usage data. Standard web server and analytics data such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, pages visited and how long you spend on them.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of what's set and why.

We do not ask you to create an account to browse this site, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (health, financial, biometric data, and so on) through it.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

• Respond to messages you send us.
• Understand how people use the site, so we can make it faster, clearer and more useful.
• Keep the site secure and diagnose technical issues.
• Meet legal obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Data retention

We keep contact-form or email correspondence for as long as it's useful to the conversation it relates to, and delete or anonymise it once it's no longer needed. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained longer since it can't be tied back to an individual.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these, email us using the address below and we'll respond as promptly as we can.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your region, if higher). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the studio changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
